Abby London

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Abby London began her love affair with music over 20 years ago, and that passion continues to drive her today. Her music is unapologetically vulnerable, and dangerously real.  Described as “an irreverent Friday night”, Abby London knows how to make her musical mark.

Originally from the panhandle of Idaho, Abby has since made Seattle her home. Whether on the guitar or the piano, her true-to-life lyrics leave nothing hidden from her audience. Each show, Abby brings her smart and soulful sounds to the stage with her unique style of pillow-talk pop.

One of her favorite original songs to perform live is “Bushes”. As Abby explains, “It tells a demented love story. It has a fast rappy part that people cheer after and a place to sing an extended vocal note.”

Abby’s creative process begins with chords and a melody, with lyrics soon to follow. As each song develops, so does its meaning. Regardless of the subject, Abby finds a way to make her music intriguingly sexy and stylish.

Her major inspirations and influences include The Supremes, Madonna, Tori Amos, Ray Lamontagne, En Vogue, Regina Spektor, Ani Difranco, Lauryn Hill, Immortal Technique, Poe, Fiona Apple, Trina, Amy Winehouse, and Nelly Furtado.

Abby has collaborated with a variety of local artists including Saint John and the Revelations, David Nyro, Megan Larson, Navia Reigns, Skotty, and Dustin Woolridge. She is always open to new musical opportunities and creative partnerships.
