Abdul Kareem Salah Al-Awad (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.; born 22 August 1953) is a Kuwaiti former sprinter.[1] He competed in the men's 100 metres and 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1976 Summer Olympics.[2]
Career
Al-Awad was one of 18 sportspeople and 80 people in total to represent Kuwait at the 1976 Summer Olympics.[3] He was one of seven athletics competitors.[4]
Al-Awad was seeded in the third 100 metres heat. He ran 11.27 seconds to place 6th and did not advance.[5]
In the Olympic 4 × 100 metres relay, Al-Awad ran the third leg for the Kuwaiti team. They ran 41.61 for 6th in their heat and also did not advance.[6]
