Abdullah Hassanzadeh is a Kurdish politician, writer, and historian. He has been involved in Kurdish politics for over 50 years, mostly for the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) and the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (HDk). Abdullah Hassanzadeh was born on 15 November 1938 or 1939 in Simer in Sardasht, Eastern Kurdistan.[1] He has been a member of the political bureau since 1971 to 2006 for the PDKI and later for the Kurdistan Democratic Party HDK (2006–2012) and for the PDKI again (2022–present).[1][2]
