Abdullah Nooran Syed (born 30 September 1989) is a Pakistani-born American cricketer who plays as a top-order batsman for the United States national cricket team.[1] He also played for the Kotli Lions during the 2021 Kashmir Premier League and for the New England Eagles during the 2021 Minor League Cricket season.[2][3]

Career[edit]

Syed started playing cricket for the New York Under-19s in 2009. In the spring of 2016, Syed was invited to a national team camp in Indianapolis.[1] Syed was called up to the American side to play in the 2016 Auty Cup and the 2016 ICC World Cricket League Division Four, where he made his List A debut.[4] He later made his T20 debut in the warm-ups for the 2017 Caribbean Premier League.[5] He was then picked up by the Kotli Lions for the 2021 Kashmir Premier League.[6] He also played for the New England Eagles for the 2021 Minor League Cricket season.[3]
