Abdulrahman Al-Shoaibi (Arabic: عبدالرحمن الشعيبي; born December 10, 1980) is a Saudi Arabian former footballer who played as a forward. He played for Hajer before he joined Al-Jeel in 2011.[1]
2005 on-field collapse
On October 20, 2005 in a match between Al-Raed and Hajer FC, Abdulrahman Al-Shoaibi collapsed after a kick to the neck and had what appeared to be a seizure.[citation needed] This later became famous as an urban legend for a YouTube clip apparently showing Al-Shoaibi being taken by an "angel of death".[citation needed]
