Dr. Abedelnasser Abulrob is an internationally recognized expert in the areas of cancer therapeutics and personalized medicine...[1] He held several senior level positions at the National Research Council of Canada[2], the elite research and technology organization in Canada and also as a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine-University of Ottawa in Canada. He has more than 80 scientific publications with 2459 citations as of 1/25/2021[3]
Early life
He earned his degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with distinction from University of Jordan and masters in Clinical Pharmacy at University of Strathclyde in Scotland and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Cell Biology and Biotechnology at Cardiff University in the UK in 2000[4]
Career
Dr. Abulrob joined National Research Council in 2000. He was promoted to be Project Leader & Senior Research Officer in 2006. In 2007 he joined to at the Department of Cellular & Molecular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa as a Professor[4][5].
Awards
He received many prestigious awards including Industrial Partnership award in 2006, National Research Council Group Achievement award in 2008, National Research Council Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award in 2010, Canada Arab Ambassadors award(science category)in 2013 and NRC Research and Technology Breakthrough Award in 2017.[5]
