Aberdeen is a young Romulan female. She lives on a colony located near the Neutral Zone. This colony is comprised of humans and Romulans that have chosen not to participate in their government's war. Being where they are, no one can truly claim their world but them. The Romulans can and will try more times than not.

That is where Se' Renna comes in. She is one of three captains that have the duty of protecting this colony. Her task was not an easy one. Nor was it a routine one, but she did it well. Aberdeen complicated the situation one afternoon.

She had grown up on this colony. As an adult, she wanted more. More than her life as a wife and mother on this colony. More than her menial job in the Community Kitchen. She wanted to see the galaxy from somewhere other than her world. She wanted to visit other worlds. Be careful what you wish for.
