Abergavenny

Abergavenny is a town in Monmouthshire, Wales. In Welsh it is Y Fenni, originally Abergafenni but now shortened.

At the mouth of the River Gavenny.

In football it was represented by Abergavenny Thursdays FC in the League of Wales. They folded in 2013 and were replaced by Abergavenny Town FC. For a time there was also Bailey Rangers FC in the Gwent Central League.
