Abetzberg

Abetzberg is a locality and a cadastral municipality of Aschbach-Markt, a market town in the district of Amstetten in Lower Austria, Austria.

It is located in the Alpine foothills of Lower Austria and it is situated northeast of Aschbach-Markt. It consists of the settlements of Burgersberg, Großkienberg, Hauptmannsberg, Hochbruck, Hoserau, Kleinkienberg, Kreuzberg, Luft, Rippelau, Schröding and Witzenleiten.[1] The village of Abetzberg was mentioned in a documentary in 1316 for the first time.
