Abhijeet Manay (born in May 1990, in Mumbai, India) is an education professional and current and former candidate for the Green Party of Ontario. He currently serves as the Deputy Leader of the Ontario Greens.[1]

Background[edit]

Born and living the first part of his life in Mumbai, India, he moved with his family to the Danforth area of Toronto, Ontario at the age of 14.[4] He is the grandchild of Gopal Manay a former elected member of the Indian Parliament, for the Indian Republican Party. [5]

In 2018 he was the Green Party of Ontario candidate in the riding of Mississauga - Streetsville. In April 2021 he announced his candidacy for and was selected as the candidate for the Green Party of Ontario in Beaches - East York.
