Abhinav Vishwanathan
Abhinav Vishwanathan (born on 17.07.1996) is an Indian actor. He began his acting career with short films, before appearing in several full-length plays. Two years later, he made his TV film debut in the Kannada drama Nanna Arasi Radhe on Colors Kannada.
Before his TV debut, Abhinav also pursued modelling and bagged the title of First Runner Up at Starlife Mr. India 2019 by Night, beating several professional models in his very first stint. Aside from these, Abhinav is also adroit at classical music, having learnt Hindustani sangeet in Delhi and Carnatic music in Bangalore under the able guidance of Chinmaya M Rao, Founder and Principal of Swaramedha Music Academy. He also learnt to play the keyboard from Shri Jaiprakash of Sri Veenavani Music School and participated in the largest electronic keyboard ensemble, consisting of 400 participants, that was registered with the Guinness Book of World records.
Early life and education[edit]
Abhinav was born on 17th July 1996 in New Delhi and spent much of his formative years there. His mother, Geetha Vishwanathan, is a Superintendent in the Ministry of Law. She is a Counselor, Psychotherapist, a Past Life Regression therapist and a Sound Healer. His father Vishwanathan Rajagopalan worked in real estate. The family moved to Bangalore in 2008. Abhinav attended the Bal Bharati Public school in Noida until grade 5 and moved to Vidya Niketan Public School, Ullal and later on to the Deeksha School of Learning at Jnana Sweekar School in Bangalore before pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication engineering from Dayananda College of engineering in Bangalore. He got placed with Hewlett Packard in their Bagmane Tech Park office situated in CV Raman nagar, Bangalore as part of campus recruitment drive. He worked at HP for an year, juggling his acting assignments and corporate career before deciding to pursue acting full time. Abhinav is fluent in Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English.
Career[edit]
Abhinav first showed interest in acting after watching a play directed by a friend of his mother. Since he was pursuing his engineering, the passion was paused to complete his degree. Once he started his corporate career, he simultaneously joined a theatre group called Forum Three under the guidance of Ranjon Ghoshal where he learned and pursued professional acting.
