Abir Sinha is an Indian chess player and author.
He studied bachelor or commerce(Honours) from Kirorimal College, Delhi university and was the sports secretary of the students union.
He won the Hawaii international chess championship(under 2000) and runners up in the Philadelphia Open (under 2000) category.
In the same year , he won the ‘Young Humanitarian of the year’ award for his notable initiative ‘Rise of the Girl child’ where he taught visually impaired girls the game of chess
He has finished six grades of piano from Trinity College London. He also worked in EY for a brief period as a risk analyst.
