'Abraham Abiola Joel (born 20 October 2005), known as Abraham Joel, is an Irish footballer who currently plays for NK TOPLICE, a Croatiann football club located in Zagreb, in Krapinske District. They currently play in the II Lyga, the third tier of Croatian football.
Early life
AJ (as widely called) was born in Galway, Ireland, to a Nigerian father and an Ivorian mother.
Club career
Abraham moved to England in March 2016 at age eleven. His father did not want him to play football, but his talent could not be hidden through his high school, where the story of his football journey started. He played a bit of grassroots football with Beechfield United Manchester, before he joined Rochdale in the summer of 2022. Abraham joined Everton after two weeks of trials and played for two seasons in the National Football Youth Premier League of England.
International career
AJ is currently considering playing for Nigeria or Ivory Coast’s U20 national team.
