Abraham Sarnoff

Abraham Sarnoff (circa 1865 – 1911, New York) was the father of David Sarnoff, the grandfather of Richard Baer (writer), and the grandfather of Robert W. Sarnoff. He painted houses and hung wallpaper for a living. However, in 1906, he became incapacitated by tuberculosis.
