Abrahamson Center

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Abrahamson Center is the name for a network of alternative medicine centers around the world, owned by Ehud Abrahamson, which deals in eliminating the desire to smoke, for sugar and addictive carbs, and remove negative energy from the body. The company uses a method that it owns as intellectual property and is called the Abrahamson Method.

The Abrahamson Method

The method is designed to eliminate one's desires for smoking, eating sugar & addictive carbs, and promote a healthier, substantial lifestyle. The method is a pseudo-science method of holistic medicine that combines, along with advice, ideas from Chinese medicine such as the use of stress points in reflexology, shiatsu, and bio-energy. According to the center, the "bioenergetic" structure of the body, expressed in meridians and in bio-energy centers called chakras, is being cleaned and balanced.

In addition to the treatment, the Institute operates a support system that combines personal art, dietitians, and support groups.

As part of the treatment of withdrawal from sugar & addictive carbs, the center wrote the bestseller "Healthy Flavors" - a recipe book tailored menu of treatment. At the same time, the center develops food products without the addition of sugar & addictive carbs.

One-time vs. long-term care

The treatment of the center is a one-time treatment (as opposed to most of the detoxification treatments that are ongoing in nature). According to the Abrahamson Center, many studies have proven that weaning in one treatment is more effective than attempts to stop gradually or a series of workshops. Among other things, the center is based on several recent studies from Oxford University[1] [2] and a study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine [3]. In the past, Emun Hatsibur argued that the center's claims were unfounded and that they did not present such studies, even though it approached it with a request. [4]
