Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW) is an independent American professional wrestling promotion founded in the year of 2005 in Cleveland, Ohio , which primarily runs shows in Northeast Ohio.
Early Days[edit]
John, at 15 years old, wanting to run his own wrestling show with some of his friends, called up local Cleveland wrestling legend JT Lightning to rent a wrestling ring. JT, accepted on the condition of being in the show and $300 for renting the ring. Once he arrived, he noticed the untrained high school people trying their hand at wrestling, and became a sort of mentor for the promotion until his death in 2011.
