Absolute pitch or Perfect pitch, is the incredibly rare ability of a person to identify a tone without any reference pitch, out of any tonal context. Perfect pitch is often described as a musical gift. Having perfect pitch means that you can put a name (C, D, E, etc.) on a frequency.
