Abubakar Ibrahim (born August 21, 1982) is a Nigerian entrepreneur. He is currently the Mandate Secretary for Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. He served as Special Assistant to the Honourable Minister of State, FCT on Special Duties between 2019 to November 2021 before his appointment as Mandate Secretary. He is the Chairman North Central Zone of Commissioners on Agriculture.
Personal life
He is an indigene of Dutsin-Ma of Local Government, Katsina State. He was born on 21 August 1982. He is happily married with children.
Education
Abubakar attended Government College Maiduguri, Borno State. In 2004 he graduated with a degree in Mass Communication from Usuman Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. He also has a degree in Political Science from the University of Abuja.
Career
To dedicate myself to the service of humanity through application of acquired knowledge and gaining of experience. To promote and imbibe the culture of International Best Practices in the conception and execution of Public Relation Strategies. Over 15 years experience in developing and executing PR Strategies to stimulate awareness, create interest and drive consideration for solutions. Developed advanced skills to ensure alignment of metrics, focus and strategies with capacity to rapidly respond to a wide range of significant issues. Wide experience in the development and execution of proactive media relations strategies including building and maintaining relationships with Print, electronic and broadcast media in governance, Development strategies, finance, Agriculture, technology and general news.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
