Academy Music Studio is a professional recording studio located in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, England, which utilizes the latest digital recording technology and also traditional analogue equipment if required. It was opened in 1984 by its owner Keith Appleton, who was at the time a professional keyboard player, specializing in the Hammond organ.

From the early 1990s, the Academy gained a prestigious reputation within the extreme metal community, and some of the well known metal bands to have recorded there include, Paradise Lost, Cradle of Filth, My Dying Bride, Bal-Sagoth, Primordial, and Anathema.
