Acadio

Acadio was a business incorporated with the Washington State Secretary of State in 1999 by Steven Sperry along with partners Mark Milgard and Yasuuki Matsumoto.[1]

Acadio developed search and categorization software that helped consumers connect with online learning products and services. The company raised $32 million from angel, venture, and corporate investors, ceasing operations in 2001.[2]

Acadio LMS

Acadio.com was purchased in 2021 under new ownership with no ties to the original product, shareholders, or entity. Recently, Acadio launched its unified learning management system (LMS) which was developed to help continuing education and exam prep providers deploy content efficiently. The company also offers pre-license and corporate training solutions to organizations and businesses.[3]
