Accessible transport

Accessible transport is transport accessible to disabled users.[1] This includes mobility devices, vehicles and systems.
History
Stephan Farffler created an early self-propelled wheelchair in 1655.
Private transport
Invalid carriages were motorised scooters predating the mobility scooter. Invacar was also manufactured as a microcar for wheelchair users.
Public transport

The first completely low-floor tram was the ADtranz low floor tram in 1990. The first low-floor tram with articulated bogies was the Škoda 15 T in 2015.
