Accredited Naturopathic Medical Schools
While Naturopathy is a rather broad topic, there are a handful of Council on Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME)[1] accredited Naturopathic Medical Schools in North America. These schools graduate students with a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine who can then go on to practice as Licensed Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) after obtaining the required licensure from the various states and provinces across US and Canada. For example, Oregon licensing for NDs can be found at Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine[2] Such Licensed Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are also called Naturopathic Physicians (NP) and Naturopathic Medical Doctors (NMD).

- Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine
- National University of Health Sciences
- Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences
- Ana G. Méndez University
- University of Bridgeport School of Naturopathic Medicine
NDsearch[3] exclusively lists only the Licensed Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) who have graduated with a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from any of the above listed CNME accredited schools in North America[4] and who have a license to practice medicine as licensed by the appropriate state or province across US and Canada. With each ND listing on NDSearch, the CNME accredited school that the ND graduated is also listed. Prospective patients who are interested in finding natural cures for their chronic ailments can find licensed NDs based on name, location or medical condition or disease.
