Marquis Jackson is an American rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He uses the name Ace Beretta.[1][2][3][4][5][6] Born in Wichita, Kansas he began his rapping career in 2014 (his senior year in high school) with several releases, including the critically acclaimed "Field Music" mixtape and more recently in January 2017, his debut EP The Numb Project.[1][2]

Alumni of Wichita Southeast High (class of 2015), Ace left Kansas after graduating to pursue music in Orlando, Florida where he was accepted into Full Sail University.[1] [2] [3] [7] Before dropping out of college, Ace released a project titled “Michael Jordan With The Pen”.[1] [3] [7] Gaining national recognition from radio airplay (88.9 KMOJ) on his lead single “All Day”,[1] he next released his next single "Pretty Penny" on Apple Music. Obtaining over 10,000 streams in a week the success of "Pretty Penny" lead to radio airplay, and acknowledgment from 25 blogs.[1][7]
