The Acheson Tunnel originally named Taggert Tunnel is a railroad tunnel in Washington County, Pennsylvania by the Wabash-Pittsburgh Terminal Railway. Both names "Acheson Tunnel" and "Taggert Tunnel" are displayed on the portals of the tunnel. The length of the tunnel is 800 feet.[1]
