Acoryé has been passionate about writing since elementary school where his fifth grade writing teacher told him he wrote some of the best stories. Her words of affirmation motivated him to keep writing his entire life. He began pursuing acting at the end of his college career, falling in love with an actor's ability to relate to large audiences, capturing emotions, and bringing stories to life. Now, in parallel to pursuing acting, he has decided to get his screenplays off the ground under the banner of his production company Anchored Lens Productions.
Acoryé's appeared alongside Alfre Woodard and LaTanya Richardson Jackson in the Netflix original film "Juanita" directed by Clark Johnson. Acoryé was also a lead in the upcoming film "Under the Stadium Lights' (2021) co-starring Laurence Fishburne and Milo Gibson. Earlier in 2021, Acoryé was also the lead in the film called "One and the Same '' directed by Felipe Cisneros with Glenn Plummer (Speed, Show Girls) in the role of his father. He appeared in theatrically released horror film "The Seventh Day" alongside Guy Pearce, Stephen Lang, and Keith David by Voltage Pictures, Vertical Entertainment, and Redbox.
Recently, Acoryé co-wrote, co-directed, produced, and starred in "Trinket Box" a 2023 horror drama film picked up as an Original by Fox/Tubi. Anchored Lens Productions was the domestic theatrical distributor for the film partnering with Regal Cinemas, Star Cinema Grill, Harkins Theatres, and more, with "Trinket Box" securing the #1 spot for best self-distributed film in the U.S. for 2023.[1] The film also had its first international theatrical run through Exponenta Film and will be having its second release in South and Latin American through MundofIlms SAC.
In the coming year, Acoryé white will star as a lead and direct his solo directorial debut "Bellmount" which he also co-wrote. Fivel Stewart (The Recruit) will co-star alongside Acoryé and veteran stunt coordinator and performer Chris Brewster (Black Panther) will serve as stunt coordinator and producer on the project.[2]
