Acrobat (band)
Acrobat are an indie-rock band who are based in Dublin, Ireland. They were initially formed in 2012 by Irish members Mark Healy and Naoise Morzadec who were later joined by Indonesian Jacob Koopman and Canadian Joe Cull.

History[edit]
The Dublin-based band formed in 2012 when singer and guitarist Mark Healy met bassist Naoise Morzadec at a party. They were later joined by Indonesian-born drummer Jacob Koopman and Canadian Joe Cull, both of whom the others found busking on Grafton Street. They released their debut EP "Follow You Down" in April 2014 on Stoneship Records. Recorded and mixed by producer Rob Kirwan in late 2013, it features four tracks. The video for the EP's title track was shot in Dublin over the course of two days in January 2014 by director Alan Doyle[1]
The band's early live shows were well received and have led to some high profile support slots for acts such as Bastille,[2] Miles Kane,[3] Mark Owen[4] and Mumford & Sons. The band have performed at several Irish music festivals including the Trinity Ball,[5] Indiependence and Sea Sessions where they were captured acoustically by the national broadcaster 2FM for an an on-air session that featured their tracks Follow You Down and Agoraphobia[6]
