Headquartered in Paris, France, Actemium is a network comprised of 380 Business Units operating in 40 countries across the world. Each Business Unit is specialized by market segment, offering its own solutions and expertise. Belonging to Vinci SA, this network is a component of the Euronext and a member of the Euro Stoxx 50.[1][2]

History[edit]

VINCI Energies created Actemium in 1997[3]. There were only 5 Business Units located in 3 countries with the expertise of Manufacturing execution system.

Between the years of 2000 and 2005, the brand grew from 5 Business Units to 65 Business Units in 7 countries (3,000 employees) - the network went on to include automation and Industrial IT.

In the year 2013, the network extended to 120 Business Units in 15 countries (5,000 employees).

In 2014, the network consisted of 300 Business Units in 35 countries (19,000 employees).

Acquisitions[edit]

  • In 2009, Actemium acquired Cegelec[4] and in 2014 the company rebranded Optéor along with several local brands.
  • In 2017, Actemium acquired QSI Group[5].
  • In 2018, the company announced the acquisitions of INP, Cougar Automation[6], Eitech[7], Wah Loon[8], ISI, AEPR, and AVT Group[9].
