Action Press (spelled as action press) is a photo agency founded in 1970 and based in Hamburg[1].
Corporate History[edit]
The action press agency was founded in 1970. In 1998 Moritz Hunzinger bought it for the equivalent of 10 million euros for infas Holding AG, which in turn sold it to SilverHub Media in London in 2016. Action press has been independent and privately owned since 2018[2]. The long-time managing director Ulli Michel was the sole shareholder. In August 2020, Hunzinger joined the group of shareholders and runs the agency together with Michel[3], [4]. Since then, both have formed the board of the newly founded parent company, action press AG, based in Frankfurt am Main, and are also half owners of the company.[5] The Company offers photos, photographers, editors, and other services. action press serves customers worldwide.[6]
