Activation tagging draft

Activation tagging is a forwards genetic approach to identify genes within an organism that can not be identified from loss of function techniques.[1]
T-DNA activation tagging generates mutations in plants through T-DNA insertions causing transcriptional activation of flanking genes.[2]
