Adam Binnie (born September 17, 1991) is an American businessman and works for the private investment firm, Carlisle Capital Corporation of Boston, MA.

Early Life

He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 17, 1991, one of four children of Scottish and American businessman and race car driver William Harrison Binnie.[1]

He grew up along the coast of New Hampshire, but the Binnie family moved to the South of France for 3 years during Adam's elementary school years.

Living in St Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Binnie attended the local public school as well as the International School of Monaco. While living in France, he became a passionate soccer fan and a player for the AS Monaco Youth Academy. After living in the South of France, he and his family returned to New England.

Education

Binnie attended The Governor's Academy where he excelled on the soccer and lacrosse teams, garnering him captaincy of the soccer team in his senior year. He would go on to attend Bates College in Lewiston, Maine after graduating from Governor's Academy. At Bates, he majored in economics with a minor in religious studies. He was a 4-year contributor on the Bates College Men's Lacrosse team which plays in the Division III New England Small College Athletic Conference.[2]

Career

After graduating from Bates, Adam joined Carlisle Capital, a private investment firm headquartered in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and has been promoted to manager in their Boston office. Carlisle Capital, which acquires, manages, and owns assets, was incorporated in 1984. It has completed billions of dollars worth of transactions in media, real estate and private equity.

Since working at Carlisle, Binnie has been involved in completing several key transactions across a variety of different industries including media, technology, hospitality, and real estate.[3][4][5][6][7]

Within a short period of time, Binnie rose within the real estate division, executing transactions with Fortune 500 companies.
