Early life[edit]

Emirali was born in England in the town of Maidstone. He learnt the game of rugby from a young age through Vigo RFC and qualifies for the national team through his fathers nationality. Emirali stayed at Vigo RFC through his junior years and prior to his 17th birthday joined Sevenoaks RFC academy team where he played for two years. Following a move to Eltham Emirali joined Blackheath RFC where he met a fellow Cypriot national player who invited him along for a trial.

That same year Emirali took part in the RFU coaching course, he intends to coach rugby full-time in the future. Injury during training for Blackheath kept him out of the squad in recent times, however to date he has not missed any international duty due to injury.

Emirali is also an avid sevens player and captains a sevens team on a yearly basis for a short spell of tournaments.
