Adam Maxwell (born 24 October 1976) is an English author. He is known for his crime novels for adults and chapter books for kids aged 6–12.

Early life[edit]

Maxwell grew up in Hetton-le-Hole. He studied English Studies at the University of Sunderland, graduating in 1998 and achieved a master's degree in Creative Writing from Northumbria University in 2005.[1]

Personal life[edit]

He currently lives in Northumberland with his wife and daughter.
