History
The institute was established in 1966 on a land measuring 1 acre. However, the school was recognized in 1968. [2]
Academics
The school operates in two shifts. In Mirpur Adarsh High School from 1st to 10th standard only Bengali medium is taught. This school has class 1st-5th co-educational and girls classes 6th-10th class in the morning branch and boys classes 6th-10th class are taught in the day branch.
