Adda52
Adda52 is a real money online gaming card portal founded in 2011.[1][2] Players can buy money to purchase chips that enables them to enter the paid games and other tournaments.[3][4] In 2017, the incorporated company was acquired by Delta Corps.[5][6][7] Ajay Gupta was the founder and CEO till August 2019 then he succeeded by Naveen Goyal.[8] Adda52 provides a platform to learn and experience the poker game for all levels of players.[9] It provides options to players such as playing at freeroll poker tables to begineers and at real money poker tables to the pros.[10]

In 2018, Jamaican cricketer Chris Gayle was a brand ambassador of Adda52.[11] During the lockdown in April 2020, it engaged users with entertainment and the tournament name Falcon for donating the revenue to the government’s COVID-19 Relief Fund. [12]

Controversy[edit]
The government of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh saw it as gambling and imposed a ban on Adda52 since it violated the Public Gambling Act of 1867. The Chief Minister of Andra Pradesh, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, also urged the central government to block Adda52. Later southern Indian state, Tamil Nadu also banned the site for the same reason.[16][17] In response to this Adda52 counters tha it needs for a regulatory authority and licencing to avoid defaulters.[18]
In Aug 2020, Due to malicious activity like chip dumping, collusion, multi-accounting, ghosting, bonus misuse and the use of scripts etc, Adda52 closed 9148 Accounts[19] Later, UK Casino forced to close Adda52 partnership with World Poker Tour and sports betting in Nevada[20]
