Addi (Tigrinya:ዓዲ|ʿĀddī; Tigre ዓድ|ʿĀd; Ge'ez:ዓድ|ʿĀd) is a Tigrinya term meaning "village" derived from the Ge'ez word "Ad" meaning "son".
