Adedayo Saheed Amzat (born 8 May 1986) is a Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist.[1] He is the founder and Group Managing Director of Zedcrest Group. [2][3] Zedcrest Group is a financial company founded in 2013 and based in Nigeria.[4][5]

Early Life and Education

Amzat was born on 8 May 1986. For his Bachelor's Degree, he studied Industrial Chemistry at the University of Ilorin, graduating with Second Class Upper Division honours.[6] He later earned an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University and an Executive MBA from London Business School.

Career

Amzat began working at Access Bank Nigeria, handling liquidity management and later moving to fixed income trading. In 2013, at age 27, he founded Zedcrest Capital Limited, focusing on securities trading.[7] The following year he established Zedvance, a consumer lending company.[8][9]

Over time, Zedcrest Group has expanded to include subsidiaries including Zedcrest Securities and Zedvance.[10][11]Amzat also serves as board chairman of Ingentia Energies.[12]

Recognition

In 2023, Amzat was named among the Top 100 Under 40 by the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD). [13]In August 2019, Zedcrest was named the Best Financial Management Firm in Nigeria by International Business Magazine.[14]
