The first of many to come… Some important points to remember when making eco bricks - 1. What goes in: Eco bricks are for plastic waste so refrain from putting paper, metal, cloth or any other materials inside. 2. The eco brick should be hard- no loose bottles would be acceptable when making different items from them. 3. Don't put one time use plastic, they are too light to make a usable eco brick or club it with other kinds of plastic waste. 4. Keep pushing the waste inside using a stick to make more space and cut the plastic packets into small pieces to fit more waste in one bottle. 5. Dust off any crumbs from the packets before adding them to the eco brick, wash and dry the packets before adding them to the eco brick. 6. Weight your brick - 500 ml eco brick should weigh around 175 g, 1.5 litre should weigh around 500g."". Instagram. Retrieved 2022-10-11.
