Aditya Agarwal (Born 31st December, 1983) is a composer, singer, songwriter, music producer and doctor. he became popular after his song "Chaand Baaliyan" went viral on Instagram reels and was placed at #2 on Spotify Global Viral charts in 2022 [1] Aditya's earlier independent releases were "Laila" and "Yeh Tune Kya Kiya" on Zee Music. In 2017, he started releasing singles on his own YouTube channel “Aditya A”.[2] His first song that did fairly well was "Yaara Tu", followed by his most popular number "Chaand Baaliyan". [3] his music has been described as melodious, soothing and entertaining.
Early life[edit]
Aditya is a musician and a doctor. He was born in Patiala on 31st December 1983. After schooling, he studied medicine (MBBS) at the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi (2001 - 2007) and did MD Pathology from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi (2008 - 2012). He currently lives in Zirakpur.
Career[edit]
After completing his MD, he moved to Mumbai to pursue music. He has done some advertising projects and scored for short films and feature film Second marriage Dot com (2012). He has worked on ad jingles for Amul, Niine and Classic diamond jewellers. He also did a song "Lehrein Toh Chup Hain" for the short film Vanvaas (2016) which garnered him praise from music critics.
Vocals and musical style[edit]
He's been called a "music magician" for his ability to write and produce music that appeals to all generations. He makes easy listening music and writes relatable lyrics which has made him more popular than ever. He writes, composes and produces most of his songs. His songs such as Chaand Baaliyan, AM blues, Heeriye, Lajpat Nagar to Meena Bazaar, Mocaccino etc are known for relatively simple music arrangement and rawness that appeals to a wide audience. Songs like Kangna, Mann Samandar, Kahaniyan and Lehrein to Chup Hain have classical and fusion elements.[4] [5][6]
