Adna Bakija

Adna Bakija (born 16 June 1991 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) is a Bosnian-Croatian academic sculptor and muralist.[1]

Early life and education

Bakija attended the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Sarajevo, where she studied sculpture. She continued her education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, completing her undergraduate studies, and later graduated in sculpture from the Arts Academy in Split.[2]

She also completed pedagogical education at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek.[citation needed]

Career

Bakija works in sculpture, public monuments and mural art. She is a member of the Croatian Association of Fine Artists in Split.[citation needed]

She lives and works in Zagreb, Croatia, where she is employed at an art foundry specializing in bronze sculpture and monuments.[3]

Her work includes sculptures, public monuments, murals and reliefs. She uses materials such as bronze, plaster, clay, wire and papier-mâché.[citation needed]
