Adnan Safee is best known for his *Bhibhu Sharma Story* film that won him the Dada Saheb Phalke Award. Adnan Safee is a film producer and a media personality. Adnan started his life journey in the advertising sector in 1999 and moved up to the production department at Red Ice Films where his love for cinema blossomed in the company of Robby Grewal and Shoojit Sircar.
He went on to join Bappaditya Roy of Fourth Apple Films fame and worked as an executive producer, highlighting his talent for getting things done. In time he was ready for a bigger leap and established Nine Angle, a production house for creatives in advertisement, feature films and commercials.
Early Life
Adnan was born on 17th September 1973 in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh to Mohammed Safeeuddin Siddiqui and Talat Humanyun Siddiqui, and went by the pet name Andy to his family and friends. He followed the usual course of graduating from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College while indulging his passion for creatives that led him to choose media as his life path.
Career
Adnan’s career kicked off in 1999 when he joined the advertising industry as a rookie. He jumped at the chance to join Red Ice Films where he worked with Shoojit Sircar and Robby Grewal on their feature films *Yahaan* and *Samay*. *Yahaan* was a critically acclaimed film that earned plaudits for the production house. Not content with where he was, Adnan then started work with Bappaditya Roy, founder and director of Fourth Apple Films.
He worked as an executive producer and distinguished himself. Ready for bigger things, he decided to strike out on his own and Nine Angle Productions was the result. It is not an out-and-out commercial venture and Adnan likes to provide a fertile ground for talent to blossom under Nine Angle’s aegis. Nine Angle is the fount for creative advertisements, feature films and commercials.

Adnan is married to Sadia Adnan since December 2002 and is blessed with a daughter, Iba Adnan, in December 2010.
