Career
Mahin began his musical journey at just 12 years old, starting with simple melodies and rhythm experiments. His curiosity soon grew into dedication. In 2022, he released his first experimental EP titled Zero Express a collection of four instrumental tracks exploring indie and electronic sounds.
After the release, Mahin took a break to focus on personal growth and to understand the technical side of music production. During this period, he founded his own recording studio, Adorn Lab, where he continues to refine his craft as both an artist and a producer.
Although he conceptualized a rock band called Abyssfectus, the project remains on hold until its official debut. For now, Mahin continues his solo journey — writing, producing, and building his sound independently, one track at a time.
Early Life
Adorn Mahin was born on 18 May 2004 in Dhaka and grew up in Shariatpur, Bangladesh. From a young age, he found comfort and curiosity in sound. As a teenager, he briefly attended a local cultural institution to study music, but left after realizing that his creativity and individuality weren’t being respected. From then on, he chose to follow his own path. He learned everything by himself. From playing guitar, tabla, and drums, to experimenting with piano and other instruments. Over time, self-learning became not just a necessity for him, but a personal philosophy.
Musical Style and Influences
Adorn Mahin’s sound is defined by his ability to merge emotion with simplicity. His music moves between acoustic rock, alternative rock, alternative indie, reggae, blues, pop, and soul. The songs often carry a reflective and cinematic tone — blending soft guitar lines with expressive vocals and introspective lyrics.
He cites Ayub Bachchu, Eric Clapton, Linkin Park, Pink Floyd, Anupam Roy, and Radiohead as his biggest influences. From Clapton’s bluesy storytelling to Pink Floyd’s atmospheric depth, Mahin’s sound echoes his inspirations while remaining true to his own identity.
