Adrian Bate

Adrian Michael Bate is an English film and television producer.

Career[edit]

Bate was worked as a producer since 1986. His credits include: Chelmsford 123; Red Fox; Dangerfield; an adaptation of Laurie Lee's Cider With Rosie; Two Thousand Acres of Sky; 55 Degrees North; The Last Enemy; Affinity; and four films in Sky Arts' Playhouse Presents series [1]. Bate was also previously head of film and television at Zenith Entertainment [2].

Vox Pictures[edit]

Together with producer Pip Broughton, Bate runs Vox Pictures. Its productions include: Just Jim, written and directed by Craig Roberts; Aberfan: The Green Hollow, a film poem written by Owen Sheers and directed by Broughton, which was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Single Drama; and Keeping Faith, directed by Broughton, written by Matthew Hall and starring Eve Myles for S4C and BBC Wales [1] [3] [4].
