Adriana Lashley De Dorato known as Adriana Lashley is a Venezuelan painter based in Italy known above all for her minimalist style.[1]
Biography
Adriana Lashley was born in Caracas, Venezuela. At a young age she began drawing and painting and attended workshops to learn to draw at the Jesús Soto Museum of Modern Art where she met in person Jesus Soto and Pedro León Zapata, her first influences.[2]
Career
In her teens, she moved back to Caracas and in 2009 she graduated as a designer at the Darias Design Institute. Parallel to her dedication to design, she participated in projects at the Armando Reverón University Institute of Higher Studies of Plastic Arts, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Caracas and the Museum of Fine Arts of Caracas. In 2005 she held her first individual exhibition of her paintings in La Castellana, Caracas. After her graduation, she transferred to northern Italy, Piemonte, where she continues to expand her career. Currently, her art is exhibited in galleries based in Paris and London.
