Adriano Del Monte is an Italian/Australian international TV Presenter, journalist and event host based in Milan, Italy.[1] He currently works across five continents, covering mainly football, some tennis and other sports.
Biography[edit]
Born in Melbourne, Australia, he was educated at Ivanhoe Grammar School, and later the University of Melbourne.
Early Career
He began his media career writing for Goal.com from 2007-2009, before spending time in the UK with ESPN in 2010. Radio stints in Australia followed, before embarking on time in the United States where he would close his first professional TV contract with beIN Sports. Del Monte would become the first Australia to present for the network in 2015, working as an anchor from its international headquarters in Doha, Qatar.
Television
Del Monte can be seen globally on multiple broadcasters including ESPN, beIN, BT Sport, SuperSport, Sony Sports India, Optus Sport Australia and more. He regularly covers Italian Serie A, UEFA Champions League and international football. He has covered key events including: 2010, 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cup, EURO 2020,[2] tennis grand slams,[3] motor sport championships and more. He has also host notable events for FIFA, including the 2019 Best Awards green carpet show, as well as the draw for the 2022 World Cup playoffs in Zurich.[4]
