Adriatic Institute for Public Policy
The Adriatic Institute for Public Policy (Croatian: Adriatic institut za javnu politiku, AI) is an independent free market think tank founded in 2004 in Rijeka, Croatia. It is dedicated to advancing personal and economic freedoms, democracy and the rule of law in Croatia and other post-Communist countries in Southeastern Europe.
AI organizes:
- the annual International Leaders Summit on Economic Growth (ILS)
- the strategic ILS Economic Roundtable events in Belgrade, Brussels, Ljubljana, Prague, Warsaw, Washington, DC, and Zagreb
- the Libertas Debate Series.
The annual ILS events have taken place in the European Parliament in Brussels, Ljubljana, Slovenia and Zagreb, Croatia.
The institute's executive board and research posts are occupied by leading free-market economists and business leaders, such as Edwin Meese III, John Blundell, Dr. Andrey Illarionov, Monica Macovei, Maurice McTigue, Ivan Mikloš, Dr. Alvin Rabushka, Dr. Daniel J. Mitchell and others.
