Advocate Architect
An Advocate Architect was historically used on design-build project but has recently evolved into other uses in the design industry. What use to be simple clients have now grown to become larger complex institutions who often reach out to the profession for 2nd opinions. This is where an Advocate Architect would be engaged. An Advocate Architect is a consultant firm, or could be a subject matter expert, who provides professional advice and who will represent the Owner’s interests during the process of an architectural project. <ref>https://www.raic.org/node/67930
