Adwaith Jayasurya
Master Adwaith Jayasurya is an Indian film actor, who has worked predominantly in the Malayalam movie industry [1]. He is known for his works in Lal Bahadur & Shastri (2014), Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam (2015), Captain (2018) and Njan Marykutty (2018)[2][unreliable source?] He made his professional acting debut in the Malayalam movie Lal Bahadur and Shastri (2014), playing the role of actor Jayasurya’s childhood [3] [not in citation given] Earlier he was cast for the movie ‘Philips and the monkey pen’, but his parents declined the offer. He did not take up the role because Jayasurya was not confident enough to venture his son into a full-length character. Adwaith's screen presence in "Lal Bahadur Shastri" was very less but was an integral part of the plot. In Njan Marykutty, the little kid captured much attention by portraying the dilemma of Marykutty as a child, and how the character could resist from wearing lipstick, sari, bindi, and bangles.[4] He has also directed, edited and acted in two short films titled Colourful Hands [5][not in citation given] and Good Day. Colourful Hands were written by the young actor, who is more interested in the technical side of the film industry. It was selected to screen at the Orlando Film Festival [6]. The short film Good Day received many praises but at the same time has a similar storyline to another movie released earlier called 72kg [7][not in citation given]
Adwaith Jayasurya was born the eldest of two children on 14 January 2006 to actor Jayasurya and Saritha Jayasurya. He has a younger sister, Veda Jayasurya.
