Arial display by Mitsubishi is a 3D display being developed by Mitsubishi that allows the viewer to see a true 3 dimensional representation of objects.[1]
Mitsubishi is developing a hologram-like display that projects images in mid-air, with aims for it to be ready by the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games.[1]
This display provides the experience of viewing a 3D object that looks like a hologram, but this is not a holographic display. Instead, it is an optically reimaged volumetric display.[2]
