Afdal V.K (born 20 March 1996) is an Indian professional footballer from New Delhi who plays as a Left/Right Winger and Centre forward. He currently plays for Garhwal FC in the I-League 2nd Division.[2]
Career[edit]
Kerala Blasters FC Reserves[edit]
In January 2019, Afdal joined Kerala Blasters FC Reserves and his debut was against Chennaiyin FC Reserves in January 2019.[3]
Garhwal FC[edit]
In September 2020, he joined Garhwal FC.
Style of Play[edit]
A quick, creative, versatile attacker, Afdal plays as a left/Right Winger and Centre forward, due to his high acceleration, close ball dribbling and a wide array of technical skills. He is equally efficient playing on either wing, however, he prefers to play as Centre forward so that he can drift in and shoot on goal from distance using his stronger foot. He can also be deployed as a supporting striker and is described by his coaches as someone who loves to bring his teammates into the game.[4][5]
