"Afortunada" is a pop song recorded by the Chilean singer and song-writer Francisca Valenzuela, released in Chile on 7 January 2008 as the fourth single from her first solo studio album, Muérdete La Lengua.
Song information[edit]
The song was written by Valenzuela in 2005 and was produced by Mauricio Duran and Francisco Duran. It was released on radio and as a digital download. This song is her most acclaimed work by critics.[citation needed]
Music video[edit]
The official music video for "Afortunada" was first shown on MTV Latin America on 16 February 2008 with high popularity in the Chilean music channels, and later on Via X and Zona Latina. The video was directed by Christopher Murray and Ignacio Rojas. The video shows to Francisca with a couple of friends in an amusement park.
